Know before you go
- A passport copy is required by UAE law to register any SIM card.
- Your phone must be unlocked to use a UAE SIM.
- Data is valid for 30 days from activation. Top-ups can be bought online or in stores.
- Some messaging apps limit voice and video calls in the UAE; normal messages work.
